Jeff, any drills to stop the hips from swaying forward on the down swing?
So then is this more along the lines of a stack and tilt swing? Because I didnt hear anything about transfering your weight to your right side? Thanks love your vids tho.
great tip
good drill.. go to hitmanhawky watch how to grip and release …best video ever
thanks for the great tip
An old golf buddy of mine (pro) has a pretty good program out now that guarantees you’ll get under 80 in two weeks. Golferbreak80dotcom
Hey guys, I have a buddy (retired golf pro) who has been selling a golf training program and doing real well with it. He’ll get you under 80 in no time.

Thanks this help me get more controle in my swing i get more GIR and now more birdies i went from mid 80 to almost breaking that 80
Jeff, thanks alot for posting this. I did a search for golf swing sequence and your videos were the only ones that came up. Thank God! Makes perfect sense. I was looking for that part of the swing that occurs between maintaining the angle and the release. Rotation of the body is what creates the bottoming out of the impact. Thank you for making that clearer. I was really stuck there for a while.
Jeff, thank you!!
Great tip! I’m definitely subscribing!
Thanks… Jeff you saved my game:)
Excellent tip– This was the ‘missing link’ for my swing. (along with the proper hip rotation). But I went from shooting in the low 100’s last season, to shooting in the low 90’s my first 2 rounds this season. Obviously I had spent several sessions implementing these tips at the range.
Good Golfing!
you made this so simple, easy to understand. please continue to show us more.
thanks
I would say you should only consciously hit at the last 6 inches of the downswing
Both are correct. At the start of the downswing the arms ARE mostly passive at first, then at the bottom you increase their speed and release your lag to turn/whip the club through the ball.
if it was only that easy! keep them coming thanks.
very help. I have a question. do you put your weight on your right foot at all when u do the back swing( cuz your shoulder turns?)
jim hardy seems to say the arms should be passive and the turning of the body provides all the power.
I try and keep my arms/hands passive , but this video says the arms and hands should be hitting.. which is correct.?
Looks like a good drill. It’s amazing how many different feels we have in our minds and what actually works for us.
I struggle with a lateral move into the left side coupled with a casting in the beginning of my transition. I am definitely going to take this drill to the range for practice.
Great tip Jeff. I’ve found that concerntrating on getting your weight forward on your downswing really helps get the club head square at impact.
Very nice tip, but I think it is the hardest move in golf to master.
the sponge is a good idea, but getting the turn to happen is a harder move. thanks and keep the videos coming.
